Peach Compote

Serves: 4-6
Serving size: 1 cup

Ingredients peach2

  • 4 cups chopped peaches
  • 2 cups chopped nectarines or plums
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 

Preparation

  1. Add fruit and honey to pot over medium heat.
  2. Add lemon zest and cinnamon. Stir.
  3. Cook until fruit is soft, about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate and enjoy cold.
  5. Refrigerate leftovers.
