Farm Bill 101 Webinar

We recently hosted a webinar about the Farm Bill on Wednesday, July 26. Becky Lare, our Director of Government Relations, provided an overview of the Farm Bill, including how it impacts our shared mission, where things stand, and how you can help advocate and urge our elected officials in Washington to pass a strong bill that both protects and strengthens SNAP and TEFAP.

The Farm Bill establishes crucial nutrition policy for the next 5 years, and while every Farm Bill is important, we all know how vital it is to protect and improve access to SNAP and TEFAP – especially now. This can only be accomplished through the joint efforts of advocates like yourself making your voices heard.
