New Grant Opportunities for Emergency Food Programs: November 1, 2017 - October 31, 2018
Food Bank of Central New York is offering two additional grant opportunities funded through the Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Assistance Program (HPNAP). These are two different grant opportunities and require two separate applications if an agency is interested in applying for both.
Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis. Submission of an application does not guarantee that your funding request will be granted. Specific instructions are detailed in the grant guidelines. The due date for both applications is 4:30 pm on February 28, 2018.
Emergency Food Programs may apply for funding, up to $3,000, to purchase locally grown, fresh produce direct from farmers through Seed Grants. Similar funding was provided in previous years through Produce Mini Grants.
Capital Equipment Grant:
Emergency Food Programs in need of capital equipment may apply for funding for new food service equipment items.
