Hunger Assessment Intern
This position is a non-paid, part-time role. Intern is expected to be available June through early October, hours may vary.
The Hunger Assessment Intern will be assisting with the scheduling and administration of in-person client surveys throughout our service area as part of a research project. The Intern will also be responsible for the accurate input of completed survey data for later analysis.
Intern should have excellent interpersonal skills, specifically relating to phone etiquette and in person exchanges; ability to interact comfortably with diverse populations; knowledge of and ability to work as part of a team; proficiency with Excel; attention to detail and accuracy, as intern will be responsible for inputting complete survey data. Transportation will not be provided, so intern must have own means of getting to and from work as well as data collection sites, as assigned..
The Hunger Assessment Intern responsibilities will include:
- contact identified Partner Agencies to schedule data collections
- maintain data collection schedule in an organized fashion
- assist with data collection by joining staff to administer surveys
- review completed surveys and input data.
