Woodforest Charitable Foundation Supports Food Bank of Central New York

Woodforest Charitable Foundation has donated $2,745 to Food Bank of Central New York to support the fight against hunger in our local community. Woodforest Charitable Foundation has chosen to support the Food Bank as part of their ongoing efforts to assist the communities served by Woodforest National Bank. 

On hand to present the check were: Jon Hawryschuk, Regional Manager, WNB; Kim Erick, WNB Branch Manager, Herkimer, NY; Cindy Wentworth, WNB Branch Manager, Watertown, NY; Veronica Blandford, WNB Assistant Branch Manager, Fulton, NY and Glen Leonard, WNB Branch Manager, Rome, NY.  Accepting on behalf of the Food Bank was Lynn Hy, Director of Philanthropy.

Food Bank of Central New York has been helping to feed the hungry since 1985. Food Bank of Central New York is a not-for-profit organization working to eliminate hunger through nutritious food distribution, education, and advocacy in cooperation with the community.  It partners with 261 emergency food programs in the counties of Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, and St. Lawrence.  For more information, visit www.foodbankcny.org
