Syracuse University Honor students are joining with a campus a cappella group to host a benefit concert for Food Bank of Central New York.  Group 4 Hunger Relief has joined with Syracuse University’s own a cappella groups to put “scholarship in action” and host “A Cappella Against Hunger”.  Performances will include sets from Main Squeeze, Orange Appeal, Otto Tunes, Redemption and Ecotunes, as well as brief discussions of hunger related issues and facts presented by Group 4 Hunger Relief.

The concert will be held on Saturday, December 1 at 7:30 P.M. in Hendricks Chapel, located on the SU campus. Advance tickets are on sale now at Schine Box Office for $4 with a student ID or $6 for the public. Tickets at the door will be $6. Sixty percent of all ticket sales will be donated directly to the Food Bank of Central New York. Additional donations to the Food Bank are greatly appreciated and will be accepted at the event.
