The Food Bank of Central New York is a not-for-profit organization working to eliminate hunger through nutritious food distribution, education and advocacy in cooperation with the community. By providing food to a network of over 585 charitable food programs, the Food Bank helps to feed hungry people throughout eleven counties of Central and Northern New York.

The Food Sense program is designed to increase self-sufficiency by helping individuals stretch their food dollars. The Food Bank of CNY is able to purchase food items in large quantities, and this savings is passed on to the program’s customers.
