CookShop is a school-based nutrition program designed to encourage children and their families to eat more vegetables and whole grains. By integrating nutrition and food education into a larger curriculum, and by providing elementary school children with hands-on cooking experiences, we are able to positively influence the food choices of our community’s children. 

Currently our CookShop program reaches over 200 children in 9 different classrooms in four schools in the Syracuse City School District:

• Delaware Academy
• Roberts Elementary
• Frazer Elementary
• Edward Smith Elementary
